Little Saints
Little Saints is a PreSchool Nursery based within Hesketh with Becconsall All Saints CE Primary school. We provide high quality early years education, term time only, for three and four year old children.
We are a Christian school that is committed to giving each and every child the best possible education, through which they can all achieve their potential as unique individuals. We provide our children with a safe and stimulating environment in which they feel secure, happy and cared for. We know each and every child incredibly well and this allows us to meet their individual needs.
We have intakes in September, January and April so no child is waiting too long to begin this exciting journey.
For the free 15 hours Early Years Funding, children may attend full or half days by prior arrangement with the head teacher. Full time sessions are available for three and four year olds who are eligible for the Free 30 hour Funding.
Please note if your child will be attending another nursery you must inform the Office Staff as free entitlement to 15 hours per week can only be claimed once and you will be liable for full payment if you require more than a total of 15 hours.

Induction process
At Little Saints we understand that starting nursery can be a little daunting for everyone involved, so with that in mind we want to do all we can to make the process as enjoyable as possible. We want to work in partnership with parents to ensure the best outcomes for all our children.
Prior to starting Nursery, each child will be invited to stay and play in the classroom for one hour. The current children will be in Nursery during these sessions, giving the children the opportunity to get to know each other and also allow the current children to support the new children.
*You will then be offered a home visit (usually the first few days of term). This is a short, informal visit to meet you and your child in your home and would enable us to spend this time getting to know your child in the place where they feel most at ease. We will find out about your child’s interests, what they like and dislike and also provide time for you to ask any questions, share any concerns and gather any information need to support the transition into Nursery even further.
*Please note*
As we aim to offer the same induction process for all our children, this may mean that children start back after term (September, January and April) a day or two later than the rest of the school.
