Home Learning:
Each Friday, an EYFS Newsletter will be sent to you with information about the learning that has taken place that week in Little Saints and Reception. On here an activity or game is suggested which is designed to support the learning in Little Saints. We love to see photos/work brought in or emailed so we can celebrate it with your child in school.
In addition to this, there is a phonics game or activity suggested, again this is to reinforce their learning from the week.
Our Environment:
In Little Saints we strongly believe that our children learn and grow through purposeful play. All resources within our Nursery environment, both indoors and outdoors, are thoughtfully chosen to support each child in their development and learning. We seek to create a nurturing inclusive environment which encourages children to be 'active and independent learners. We strive to inspire our children to explore and create, to think critically and to expand their knowledge and understanding in their learning.
Drinks, Snacks and Lunch:
Toast can be ordered each day in Nursery for the children to eat during morning break time. If you wish to send a snack from home, as we are a 'healthy school', please ensure this is fruit. The children will also be given snack time in the afternoon where fruit is provided for them.
Lunch can be ordered as a school dinner. You are able to pre order a school dinner at home so it gives your child time to choose something they would enjoy to eat. Alternatively your child can bring their own pack lunch.
Please send your child into school with a labelled water bottle everyday.
Remember: We are a NUT FREE school.
Communication:
Each Friday, an EYFS Newsletter is emailed to families with information about the learning that has taken place that week in Little Saints and Reception. A School Newsletter is also emailed with additional and wider school information and news. We would advise you to read both newsletters to ensure you are informed of all the wonderful things happening in school.
If you would like to email any member of the EYFS team then please use our email:
