Greek Artist – El Greco - The Saviour of the World, inspired by Byzantine-type paintings.

Year 5 enjoyed drawing detailed portraits of the Greek artist’s interpretation of Jesus. We watched a tutorial about how to sketch a portrait and then copied this into our sketch books.  After learning about El Greco and the Greek influence on his Byzantine artwork, we transferred our acquired skills to create some amazing portraits of the Greek image of Jesus.
